“Today in the Florida Legislature we saw two drastically differently visions for our state’s future when it comes to gambling,” said John Sowinski, President of No Casinos. “The Senate had final passage on a bill that massively expands gambling to virtually every part of the state, threatening our state’s families, businesses and putting our family-friendly tourism brand at risk. One the other hand, the House bill which holds the line on gambling, cleared its final committee hurdle and is on the way for a final vote.  Clearly the House bill is the best path forward for our state.”
