On Friday, February 9, the Senate released a 90-page strike-all amendment to SB 840. The amendment will be on the agenda for a committee meeting on Monday, February 12.

Here is our statement on the amendment:

“All of our objections to SB 840 that we outlined in a letter to the Senate Regulated Industries Committee on Jan. 17 are still contained in the strike-all amendment. We oppose the Senate strike-all and urge the Senate to oppose it as well. HB 7067 is the only comprehensive proposal that does not expand gambling in Florida.”
